The Tanzania safari begins with a lunch in Arusha before heading to Lake Manyara, where guests enjoy dinner and overnight at a lodge. The next day features a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, hippos, monkeys, flamingos and diverse birdlife, followed by a drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for overnight stay. On Day 3, travellers descend over 600 metres into the Ngorongoro Crater for an immersive crater tour, exploring forests, savannahs and lakes while spotting wildlife such as elephants, lions, and flamingos, with a picnic lunch included. The safari concludes with a return drive to Arusha, with lunch en route.

Manyara / Serengeti / Ngorongoro, Tanzania – 5 nights / 6 days from £3189pp

The Tanzania safari begins with lunch in Arusha followed by a drive to Lake Manyara, where guests enjoy dinner and overnight at a lodge. On Day 2, a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park offers sightings of hippos, tree-climbing lions, monkeys, flamingos and other bird species before continuing to Serengeti National Park for dinner and overnight. Day 3 is spent on morning and afternoon game drives across the Serengeti plains, spotting wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and lions. On Day 4, guests enjoy a morning Serengeti drive, then visit Olduvai Gorge, the site of the Leakeys’ archaeological discoveries, before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for overnight. Day 5 features a full-day Ngorongoro Crater tour, exploring forests, lakes and savannahs with wildlife including elephants, flamingos and lions, with picnic lunch included. The safari concludes on Day 6 with a return drive to Arusha and lunch in town.

Tarangire / Ngorongoro / Serengeti / Manyara, Tanzania – 7 nights / 8 days from £3885pp

The safari begins with arrival at JRO, followed by transfer to Arusha for an overnight stay. Day 2 features a drive to Tarangire National Park for lunch and an afternoon game drive, where guests may spot lions, lesser kudu, eland, gerenuk and the park’s iconic baobab trees, with dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp. On Day 3, the journey continues to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a descent into the crater, exploring forests, lakes and savannahs inhabited by elephants, flamingos, monkeys and lions, with dinner and overnight at a lodge. Day 4 includes a drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, with lunch at the lodge and an afternoon game drive across the endless plains to observe wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and lions. Days 5 and 6 are dedicated to full days of Serengeti game viewing. On Day 7, guests enjoy an early morning game drive before heading to the Ngorongoro Highlands for lunch and an afternoon visit to the waterfalls, with dinner and overnight at Manyara. The tour concludes on Day 8 with a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, followed by lunch and a drive back to Arusha for evening departure from JRO.
