Sphere Class Sailings

Princess Cruises' Sphere Class features the Sun Princess and Star Princess, two large cruise ships with LNG-powered engines, a modern design featuring glass domes, and a focus on family-friendly amenities and diverse dining options. These ships offer more than 1,500 balcony cabins, a multi-deck Piazza, and the "Sphere-like" Dome for entertainment, as well as more specialty and included dining options than other Princess ships. The ships have a more relaxed and casual atmosphere than traditional Princess ships, targeting families and younger cruisers.

Largest ships: Sphere Class ships are the largest in the Princess Cruises fleet, accommodating around 4,300 guests.

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) power: They are the first ships in the Princess fleet to use LNG for propulsion.

Innovative design: The ships feature a modern, outward-facing design with a large glass Dome at the front, a multi-level Piazza with a glass sphere, and a new layout for public areas.

Focus on families: The Sphere Class is designed to attract families and younger cruisers with a more casual dress code and more family-friendly programs and activities.

More dining options: The ships offer an extensive selection of both specialty and included dining venues, with a Princess Plus or Premier Package often including unlimited specialty dining.
