Last month, our Resort Product Manager was fortunate enough to attend an educational hosted by Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels, here's what she had to say: 'I have never been to Mauritius before and I can assure you that it is even more stunning than I had ever imagined, and I will certainly be back. The warm Mauritian welcome that we received at each and every one of Beachcomber's properties was second to none.

Whichever Beachcomber property you choose, you will not be disappointed. From the breathtaking beachfront of Royal Palm, with its attentive staff and beautiful spa, this resort would be the perfect way to start or end any holiday in style. Steeped in history, Canonnier has some lovely, unique elements to it, with its cannons and spa set within the branches of a huge Banyan Tree, I have not seen anything quite like it before.

Mauricia had a really relaxed feel to the resort, making you feel at home from the moment you arrived, with beautiful views across the harbour. Victoria is perfect for families and couples alike. The resort has so much to offer that you would never get bored here. As a couple, if you are looking for something really special Victoria for 2 is for you. This adult only section features swim-up rooms which overlook the picturesque beachfront.

Trou aux Biches is a truly unique resort, set right on the beach with lots of walkways surrounded by water features, resulting in this resort offering some of the most amazing views whilst dining. From its incredible sunsets to its amazing dive centre with the most attentive staff I have ever met. They truly love their job and this shows in the care and attention they gave to me on my first ever scuba dive. An experience I will never forget.

Dinarobin & Paradis are situated right next to each other, on one of the most beautiful beachfront's in Mauritius. Both resorts have a completely different feel to them, Dinarobin exudes classic elegance and Paradis modern luxury. If you are a food lover, Paradis is the resort for you, the food is divine. For Dinarobin, the backdrop of Le Morne mountain is a must see for that Instagrammable shot.

Shandrani is atmospheric and a real home away from home. I felt instantly at ease in this resort. A real stand out for me was the serene spa, Teak Elephant - the Thai restaurant and the wine cellar, which made for a truly unique start to the evening.

Upon my return, I have been asked many times which of the Beachcomber resorts was my favourite and I would be really hard pushed to choose just one. From the sublime cuisine at Paradis, to the stunning backdrop of Dinarobin, to the feel and atmosphere of Shandrani to the unique layout of Trou aux Biches and the endless options at Victoria, to the beachfront and casual elegance of Royal Palm. My advice would be to try them all!!'
