What do we mean by eligibility?
Hotel Only
For hotel only packages a letter of employment
is not required and length of service is immaterial, however ID may be
requested on check-in at hotel to confirm travel industry discount entitlement.
Flight inclusive programme
As we offer highly discounted products to the
travel trade, the participating airlines on these programmes stipulate
the areas of the travel industry they wish to promote their rates

A proof of employment letter will be required
approximately one month prior to the departure date: this can be obtained
from your staff travel/personnel department and tickets will not be issued
without this letter.
Retired staff should apply to their Retired Staff Travel Services department
for the appropriate letter.
Travel agents/tour operators will be required to produce an IATA880 letter
confirming entitlement ,or alternatively if ABTA or ATOL registered a
letter on company headed paper will suffice.
For other travel industry staff:
please note that normally one year service is required for eligibility to the flight
inclusive programmes, however, quite a few now require just 6 months service.
In the case of airline staff, the letter required is an IATA788 letter,
for cargo agents it is an IATA881. For other travel industry staff a letter
will be required on company letterhead issued by your appropriate department
(e.g. human resources, interline etc).
Please note that eligibility for flight inclusive programmes varies according to
the airline travelled on, details of which are highlighted on each brochure and
in the table above.
